Yeah. Vakria's dead, and the armor has been restored to its rightful owner. I am not aware of any abundant clarity, particularly none that came within a week "or so" of your post.

So will you provide one? And/or an apology for making a horrid judgment call?

I am pretty sure that it became overly clear that it was NOT me that did it when Dulrik commented on that topic. Let this be stated again, I cannot delete players. I was nothing more than a single IMM translating a singular message from three IMM's. I had also hoped that wild assumptions would be considered more carefully, but I was apparently wrong.
Dulrik does read the forums. Dulrik does know what goes on in the game and if he does not, then Achernar does (which then means that Dulrk is made aware). With the obvious being stated (yet again), this must mean that there is a bigger picture somewhere in the line, that it is being allowed for reasons not being given OOC'ly to the player base, and that *gasp* the Sr. IMM's are aware of it. The forum rants, raves and QQ'ing does not go ignored by Achernar or Dulrik. Algorab has given his answer and calmly explained that there is more to the story and that it will be revealed shortly. If most of you keep this up, you will need blood pressure medication at an early age.
It is this kind of behavior that makes the immstaff not want to do things. Every time we do something someone else turns around and throws a tantrum. I am already bracing myself for the Krychire opening since I have reviewed the comments placed on other forums. Complaining about an area that was not finished, opened, or even under the final draft. People making comments on things when they do not know what is going to happen or why? Really? It honestly made me want to scrap all of the work I did and say “forget it”.

I hope my comments are not considered a tantrum, or are negatively reflected for the staff and their hard work put into this game. You guys are great, and I just wanted to share my 2 cents why having a rule like giving no equipment to players is a good thing. I think this thread has run its course and can likely die. I.e. be locked.

Nashira: The excuse that Kura's player gave for needing the equipment had to do with Vakria. She's gone. Algorab stated almost a -month- ago that the information would be forthcoming. I understand that the staff works on the game in your off time, and that you're not paid for your contributions. Hence, the majority of you won't commit to timelines. Which is fine. None of that has anything to do with explicitly breaking the rules in favor of one character.

Should we expect that the gear will find its way to Kura once again, for a scripted role play event with a character who's not even living any more?

If so - hell, even if not - the people who were slighted by this decision deserve an answer. (hint: the entire player base who has been brushed off when bugs/crashes/etc delooted them)

I want the IMMs to do lots more things. But they don't have to include completely ignoring the rules, or ridiculously favoring single players - do they? The commentary that I saw about Krychire was pretty positive. I don't know what you're reading, but the negativity in the thread I saw was directed between the players among themselves, not about your work. I saw a couple awesome new developments as I was teleporting around the other day. I can't wait to see what they're about - because I was absolutely incorrect in my assumptions about them and they look awesome.

Why does the only ongoing IMM-sponsored roleplay have to ignore - nay disenfranchise - the entire who list?

No Trag, I was not putting you in this category. You (and several others) generally comment or post under a clear head and ask legit questions. It is the other dozen or so who trail in your every step that scream “OMG OMG!” and then jump to wild conclusions that end up in accusations and demands. Should we have to post every rp we do, the reason behind it, the desired outcome and list all players involved? If we did have to do that, then we would essentially be spreading a vast collection of IC information to everyone in the game and at least 1/3 of the players would react IC'ly as if though they were there for the rp and that they were privy to such information.
Kura and a handful of others got an rp, they either chose to share bits and pieces of it through IC or OOC means (or lie about it for whatever reason). With the limited (or incorrect) information that was given to several other people, wild accusations came to play. Snowball effect that leads to an eight page rant. Sometimes it can be rather funny to see how fast people freak out, while other times it is really just frustrating.
I realize that some people cannot imagine how an rp could possibly happen behind their backs, but it does and when it does, they are in the dark just like everyone else. I think the int status needs to change, omniscient is misleading.


Evena: Honestly, your post made me want to scrap it, I was deeply annoyed. The comments on items inside, made me want to scrap it and start over (even though I knew there was more that was being done). With over 400 rooms, I missed a couple of teleport rooms and that was my bad. I then felt that I needed to go back and change things so that no one would have the upper hand, which I guess I now need to do again since I have not made a huge change in a couple of weeks... which just causes delays.

The comment *I* made about the area? I didn't even comment on the area. I commented on the fact that I didn't think that the room descs ought to be posted on the logsite.
