You should be able to buy these from them (for absurd prices). It's kind of lame that the only way to get their item is by killing them.

SK Character: Toji
Lighties get their elite little agreement to let each other borrow their items (by the request command)
Darkies get the guilt-free attitude to kill and get what they want
Greys get... half damage from holy word. *shrugs*

People will say we're balanced :(

Well, I think the issue is that she's playing a lightie and her character isn't necessarily inclined to kill someone only for their leet eq.

I think she's right, though. Even the greediest of gray auras should have a price.

This and the greater difficulty enchanting (because you can't force repop some NPCs) definitely make lighties a less-appealing proposition for me. I don't know if selling items is the answer, but I agree it's a pain.

Personally I think grey aura should be abolished.

Personally I think you should get up and PK.

Just do what Ardith does. Sell to an evil merchant npc then jloot him "for great justice." In addition to repop, you get moneys and XPs. Good combo.

I know you were making a funny, but the reason this doesn't work for enchanting is that many times the original NPC has to die for the item to repop.

Oh, right.

You could just make something up (read: roleplay.)

sayto acolyte I noticed you did not shout out praises to my Lord when I conjured his glory just now. You will show humility or by his gauntlet I shall humble you!

blah blah blah.

That's all well and good but if humbling him involves murder it's pretty harsh, even for a scrupulous character (I assume you mean killing a light-aura NPC to get them to repop). I think the imms might feel obligated to curse you if they saw you doing that.

For grey-aura NPCs it's a little easier, but still troublesome for many lighty character concepts.
