I understand that people were upset with pets being overpowered, but can we please return the ability to bash to them? Or have just some of them been wimped?

It will be completely impossible to ever win a fight with non-fighter classes the way things now stand. Plus it's just really annoying because there are a lot of doors that need to be bashed which are now going to require multiple players to deal with - a move in the wrong direction with not that many players often around.

Please?

Strange, I have now tested three of the ones I used to use. One had no bash, one is no longer available (lion), and the other couldn't bash either. Hopefully it's just a subset that had that ability removed then.

We've a new pet code active. In the next few days, we will be tweaking all pets so that they fit the new limitations. If a pet is going to be able to bash, it is likely going to be able to do little more. Basically, the era of uberpets is now over.

Any chance of priests being able to stand a chance alone in pk or exploring most places has pretty much diminished. Awesome.

:roll:

Making pets not have a ton of hp or being able to hit like a truck would be a good way to balance pets. No reason to take bash away from them.

I was kind of happy with my flying, mountable, no-bash, crap-damage-dealing wyvern. And that's been completely removed from the game.

It isn't really relevant for players. The new code assigns points to every ability a pet has. The code prevents builders from exceeding a certain amount of points. Almost every pet in the game had more points than are now allowed.

Apparently this is on the to-do list, but please put in some sort of display of what they can do.
