So, here's an idea.

What if the oathbreaker flag could be removed by the leader of the cabal/tribunal that placed the flag?

For example, if Justin Bieber wants to leave the Druids to become a Harlequin pop sensation, should the Druid leaders have the option of releasing him from his oath?

Discuss.

wow... it's 2003 all over again! :O

EDIT: By the way, I voted. I voted no.

The reason is simple, the Oathbreaker flag is there for a reason. That reason, is because leaving a cabal/tribunal only to rejoin it five days later, is frowned upon.

Such choices are heavy choices, made once in a character's life and they come with a heavy price. I mean, hell, if we're actually considering it, why not make it possible for faiths to CONVERT people?

Cabal/trib leaders should be allowed to allow people to leave without the oathbreaker flag, but it should be an option on the uninduct command only, and the default should be to apply oathbreaker.

You can actually leave your cabal/trib and rejoin as many times as you want. Ealuriel got inducted into the MC like 4 times, due to being batshit crazy.

You can also go Hammer-Peacekeeper, Fist-Talon, Guardian-Druid, and possibly BH-Crucie. (and vice versa) Not sure on that last one. IE, you can leave your country's trib to join the cabal, and the other way around. But you can't leave say the Peacekeepers and become a Fist.

I think the ONLY way Oathbreaker should be able to be removed from a character is give it a 6 RL month timer or something, from your uninduct. And it should be gone after that. No IMM involvement needed. And none of this "nobody except the IMMs bestest buddies can switch, and everybody else can diaf",

I've been removed from a tribunal and returned with little trouble and some fun RP. It's not hard to do WITH A GOOD REASON. Had to stress that, good reason.

There is a point to oathbreaker, Anjin. You may stop to think about it for a minute.

Hmm, but most cabals aren't kingdoms specific. What if I am a Taslamaran in the fist or from Empire and a druid. Seems like members from other regions get shafted even though, from my understanding, the intent was for cabals to be made up of like minded people from all the kingdoms.
