Dulrik, you may wanna revise the code that containers are not lost from innactivity. Check out your game; all the decent containers are hoarded by banking characters and one can only go with storebought rubbish. You may want to change that back.

I think this is the 800th thread about containers not being wiped at monthly reboots from inactive characters.

It would be nice, but the problem also lies with the fact that it takes about 6 months for inactive characters to be deleted from inactivity, which is why characters are able to bank containers for so long.

This won't change anything this will just mean the characters will log in that much earlier. Hoarders will hoard and you will be stuck with store bought.

At least they will have to log their characters a certain amount of time in order to not lose containers, giving others the oppostunity to hunt them down.
As it is now, you can cause grief by simply hoarding all containers, give them to a banking character and never have to log him ever again (except for a few seconds every six months).

You coulnd't be more wrong. If containers are flagged like all other items, they will have to complete a certain number of hours per month in order to keep them. As it is now, they only need to do what you posted, and that for every six months. Which renders your point moot, at least.

I kinda would see enchanting a symbol to be slightly disrespectful to your God. It's as if you are saying, "Why did you give me this with only these lousy enchantments?"

Plus nowadays you should be blessed with just having a symbol, hear they are very very hard to come by for most faiths.
