The boost to deep-elves was well-deserved and an excellent change. Anjin doesn't know what he's talking about.

Higher cha gives you access to better npc's with leadership doesn't it? So it doesn't just affect order lag.

There are some guards which are impossible to order if you are not an elf with maximum charisma.

Elf paladin is nice, basically can say no to your racial weaknesses.
