Why does the game not allow you to type some of the letters in when you try to look or even glance at this race? Being a lazy typer I dislike this race cause the game makes me type the full word minotaur when you use any command directed towards this race.

This is the case for every single race.

You can only target by race by typing in the full word, unless you are targetting an NPC. The exceptions are helf and delf I think.

Odd, when was this changed? I recall being able to type some of the letters when looking or glancing at others. Just recently noticed this within the past few days.

This is still the case when you use adjectives or names.

I vaguely recall we had to make this change for some PK related reason. I don't remember when or any of the details.

Well it is currently very useful when you want to target a NPC and not a PC.

I would hate for this system not to be in place and be training in the Valley of Ashes as a minotaur PC.
