I said shaman were imbalanced, everyone said they were fine and that as a class they didn't deserve a nerf. So screw all you, deal with the monster you created/ignored for years.

What I love about Rial is that you can always count on him for a calm, rational point of view on just about any topic. It's refreshing.

My old paladin Orac survived a voodoo from Blergan. I think alot of people can survive vooodoo. Especially people with access to sanc and prot.

Wasn't Blergan dark aura? A greybie voodoo might've finished you off.

There are race/class combos that can survive voodoo (paladin being one of them). What I find problematic is that there are many race/class combos that cannot survive voodoo no matter what they do. If you throw in a doll, only other shamans will survive voodoo attempts.

You used to be able to overcharge your mana pool to gross heights with mana leech. And that is not true about the doll, back when Blergan was around, all you had to do was greet someone to get the double damage. My elf paladin routinely survived his voodoo attempts.

I proudly take credit for getting mana leech wimped and terrorizing the greet system. My voodoo spell was removed from Blergan by Salak (after I repeatedly killed his mortal character), and the spell itself was wimped shortly after. Success! It's still too strong, but it's nothing compared to what it was. It just makes sorcs unplayable.
