Something I've noticed with tracking if the target is invis, or possibly just not visible to the character by other means, then it will not show while tracking.

Invis NPCs show as
...faint traces of someone leading east...

While if you fail the detail roll it still shows even if they are invis.
...faint traces of a human leading east...

And the -same- tracks I was just reading after I had invis released from the NPC
...faint traces of a TEST SUBJECT leading east...

Is it just me or does it seem silly that you can't know what you are tracking if the target is invisible?
Even when the same tracks after the target releases invis you suddenly know what you are tracking.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature so I posted it here to get other opinions on this.

Most likely a feature, though fairly illogical.

Makes sense that you would be able to identify the tracks of an invisible creature. Invisiblity shouldn't affect tracks. However, if the subject is ethereal, they shouldn't be leaving tracks, at least not in the corporeal plane.

What's even funnier is the tracks will change as the person adds/drops disguise/polymorph/harlequin ability.

It was probably a shortcut at the time. I would call it a bug at this point, since I have been trying to hold things to higher standards.
