And a new language introduced into the game that would be hard to find teachers for, like Firmyrn used to be. Sure, it would be defeated by the influx of PCs who will run around teaching it to everyone who has half a brain cell to learn it, but at least actual trainers would be somewhat difficult to find again, giving reason to re-explore.

Call it Orcish. Instead of seeing XXXX says "dcg fhgqefiuwqeghv e gehgv e rgeg"

You would see

XXX makes some odd noises comprised of grunts and snorts.

There is some garbled writing down in Tul'zuth that points to Orcish.

I'm sorry but if they're going to implement a new language it should be Perkara, the gnomish trading language that is literally mentioned once in the entire game.

Perkara wouldn't be a bad skill but its not a language just a writing system for trade. Having a Perkara skill would be like scripting unnderstand onto every piece of paper you wrote on so anyone had the chance to read it even without.

I wonder if any IMMs would be kind enough to describe how Perkara is supposed to work exactly? I know it's a moot point, but I'm genuinely just curious. Is that wert's coding?

If I open a thread about a new race, orcs, for that matter, and all we get out of it (especially after Dulrik posts) is the Perkara Language I am going to shoot myself.
