Has it been determined that this is not a bug? It seems awfully bug-like to me.

So how did he just walk away? He was in a back row and therefore not in direct combat?

You can walk away without typing the flee command so long as you are not in melee combat. Like if some jackass stabs you with a spear, and you don't have a reach weapon to reach him, you can just walk away. I have always felt this is stupid.

Yes, I know that. I was asking if that was the case here.

The nimbus only gets removed when fleeing or retreating. There is a case where the paladin might be trying to catch up to someone who did manage to get away somehow, so I don't want to remove it just for moving. But perhaps it should be changed so that if you leave the room with the target, it does go away.

Your solution sounds fine, though I don't understand how your case above works that requires it not to fade when the paladin and his enemy are separated. How did the opponent get away if he is bolted?

You should also reduce the duration to about the same length as a bash. Same with taunt.

You'd think it should be impossible. I was perhaps being overly cautious at the time.

Well if D does makes it fade once the Paladin and his target get separated, there's one more thing to take into account and then it gets complicated. What happens if the Paladin's group has a monk who sends someone away [Cabal skill]? Nimbus fades? I'm not saying it's right or wrong, just some food for thought. The more you get into it, the more complicated it becomes.

The most logical thing for me is that it remains as long as they're in the same room. Your idiot monk buddy just tossed the guy you bolted? Looks like the nimbus is gone.
