"Automatic password resets" does not imply the same thing as "automated password resets."

Fine, consider me to have said automated password resets. I didn't realize people would interpret that differently.

PS. Help file has been updated.

SK Character: RAWR!
Thanks, D. Maybe most people would have interpreted that as you'd intended, but clarity isn't ever a bad thing for those who might not. I appreciated the explanation that you provided and didn't think it fit the help file.

:)

Since the email address I always use and will continue to use with my chars is somehow unable to receive email (none@none.none), I don't expect to get anything. (And, yeah, email from SK would be considered spam.)

Pushing40, I have to call you out as a hypocrite. If you really had a principled stance about not confirming an email address to prohibit any spam, you would not be able to post on this forum. Email confirmation is required to have an account here and I have the ability to do automated mailings to the entire list of accounts registered at any time. How many times have you ever seen me make use of that ability?

For the record, email from SK which has to do with your use of the service is not spam, because you have signed up to use our service. SK does not intend to send you marketing material from any third party, although I will not say that we never will.

I've run this game for 15 years and the internet is no longer anything like what it was when we started. Fifteen years in the future (yes, I intend SK to last that long), maybe I will have to send marketing material, so I'm not going to say it will never happen. However, I don't intend to ever send any such thing and I would give you the ability to opt-out if I ever did.

Sometimes I wonder where Dulrik gets the patience to deal with people acting like kids. This back and fourth reminds me of the WoW forums with ghostcrawler except ghostcrawler gets paid very well and Dulrik does it because he wants to.

I don't see anything wrong with what Dulrik has done with the automatic (automated) password reset. It makes sense to me and I don't know why you guys are hassling him instead of saying thank you.

I still want to know what the loyalty points are going to be able to be spent on

I have previously registered, if I type in 'email confirm', it says:

Hmm...did the game crash shortly after you confirmed the first time? Other than that, I'm having trouble coming up with a situation that would cause that.

I guess after we confirm we don't want to touch it any more but I am only thirteen.

So I have 10 tokens, and I can spend all 10.

Now I REALLY want to know what I can spend these on

Dulrik you're the man, it's a shame most of the people who play this game have personality disorders. Kudos to you for putting up with it for 15 years.
