This is a question for the Zmud users out there. I am having a issue in certain rooms in which I cannot see exits and it seems to lock up. An Example is the area around SAOK shop in the Orc Hive. I will move into a room, get the description and then nothing else, I can type on the prompt but it does not show up in the game, nothing EX does not show exits, I cannot move. Others I am with can see if I type things and say things but it will not show up on my display.
Here is the weird part. If I enter one of these rooms, type EQ my equipment will show up on the display, then I can type EX and it will show the exits, then nothing else. I cannot seem to move, and if I am moving I cannot tell. Its only certain rooms in the MUD, maybe 3%. I am fully expecting people having no idea what I am talking about but I thought I might give it a shot.

Ps. I dont think it is a color issue ie black text

Have you tried a different client, and have you also recently doused your computer with holy water?

Once, I played gnome druid warlocks 4 times in a row over the course of five years, and I had the exact same thing happen to me. This is just a shot in the dark, but have you been playing the same build over and over and over? If so, maybe there's a connection.

3 but not in a row, but I will look into it. I appreciate you looking and taking it so seriously when someone needs a hand with something.

Does it really happen only with Zmud though? It isn't, for example, something that also happens with telnet?

And do you have any triggers set up maybe?

I just tried MUSh, and there is no issue, so I am guessing it is some setting on ZMUD. I got used to using ZMUD and kinda like it so I would love to correct it, if possible. I will try and contact them but sounds like you have used it for a while also. I have no triggers, in fact this is the first and only client I have ever used..for 4 years I thought the only options was telenet.

Just giving you a hard time, man. You always seemed like the kind of guy who could take a joke. Just messing around. I have no real advice because the problem you describe is really freaking weird.

On a sidenote, MUSHclient is fantastic, and maybe you should give it a shot.

That is a really freaky bug. You might even just try reinstalling zmud and seeing if that fixes anything.

Shot in the dark but are you using zmud with windows 7? There's supposed to be some weird compatibility issues, though I've not encountered them yet.
