There are two solutions that come to mind immediately.

1. Put something in her mouth to stop it up. Like, you know, a sock or something.

2. Read her the page from "Go The $#@$ To Sleep" where it says "A hot crimson rage fills my heart, dear, shut the %#@^ up and go to sleep."

I pop in not being to the site in a long time and I can't help but point out a few things. A capitalistic system doesn't require a democratic government, only one that believes in a free market more or less. China has become much more capitalistic since it took over Hong Kong. Inflation is not caused by a country having too much material wealth; it is caused by decreasing the value of the currency. Just look to Germany pre-WWII. Lastly, the idea suggested is interesting IMHO and is deserving of consideration and discussion. Although, insults and degradation is another way to go.

I already hashed this out with Dulrik, I was drunk, under the influence, and tired, and that democratic line slipped in there.

Coinage is material wealth, it is just in a form that has not been exchanged for goods, services or what have you. Having a ton of coin in your economy will lead to the same effect that printing out paper money does, it devalues the currency, and makes the cost of goods go up.

I wouldn't take a serious look at the proposals. It just adds another element of grinding to the game, which actually serves no real purpose. I'd probably also add that if you want that sort of gameplay you should look into the many Korean games out there. I don't see this as enriching the tactics of PK, or RP of the players in conclusion.

I will mention again, that on SK, currency is actually "real" - in that there is only a finite amount of it in circulation. If you spend a coin, it actually reappears somewhere else in the game, usually as a treasure re-pop. If everyone just collected money and never spent it, those treasure re-pops would become smaller and smaller until no new money would appear. And this is why you do have inflation and recession in specific kingdoms - because where you spend the money determines where and how much will re-pop. And that in turn is a determining factor of how much items cost in that kingdom.

Yes, it is real, which is a great achievement of yours. It just doesn't work in the most important sectors of the economy.

Edit:

Ardith, you should edit in statement retractions in your original post, at the end of the post, when you want to retract a statement, instead of just posting a retraction after but leaving the original uneditted. This will prevent people from pounding you on points you've already withdrawn.
