You initiated a conversation with me via PM on a Friday. I had one chance to respond before leaving for the weekend. I tried to goad you into continuing your commitment as leader. I did not imply that you would never be allowed to leave the cabal. Over the weekend, another imm flagged a new leader. You deleted.

If another IMM had already flagged a new leader, there's little doubt that the same IMM would have been willing to remove your flag, allowing said new leader to just uninduct you.

I am the other Imm and the impression I got from the request from Genai was to flag a "second" leader. Not a replacement. I flagged a second leader based on RP from the group for said person. There was never any mention to me or on the forums at the time of the request that Genai wished to be removed from the cabal.

It is a shame you deleted. At this point though, it is what it is, just keep in mind that things can take time. In my opinion the Staff has been fairly vocal about being unavailable recently and I urge everyone to please exercise patience.

For my part, I would be happy to field questions or requests as quickly as I am able.

I got the impression that Dulrik wasnt going to let Genai out of the cabal so I did my obligation and found a replacement leader. I would have felt horrible had I left the Harlequin with nothing. The first thing I asked Dulrik was to flag another person. He left me a reply goading me into staying as he put it, yet I had to find another Imm to get another leader put in even. If it wasnt for one of the other Harly, I wouldnt have known there was an IMM around even. I got a reply right after we RP'd wanting another leader saying that there was an IMM watching and I had to post something on the board within 10 minutes to get it done otherwise they were leaving. I had ten minutes to get a new leader, I wasnt thinking about getting genai removed at the time, just making sure I didnt leave the harly hanging if i decided to delete since I was being ignored by Dulrik. Pretty used to the being ignored part in the Harly. Took two months for the whole Emiline fiasco when we lost almost all the Harlequin that were in the court when Genai got inducted. Guess that just means to stay out of the harly.
