Kudos to removing/equipping-from-inventory while blind....this feature now makes Eye Washers an actually useful item
(dirt-blind DURING a fight, okay...blind for a full tick AFTER the fight cuz the NPC dirted on the last round? bleh!....fight ends and swap held weapon for washer, squirt, continue? HOORAY!)

And...been playing for about 6 months, and finally a week ago wrote aliases making > and . start tells and replies, respectively...then ya install [ and ] for the same...haha on timing, but long overdue and thanks!

The rest of it? Frankly I'm soooo noob compared to you all that I have NO idea how it affects my gameplay...if mechanics are sucky, I just have to assume its my ability to build a char that sucks...if mechanics are good, I just assume I got lucky lol.

I'm just here for the free grapes!

Charms -- yes, although it's more difficult than ordinary spells. Elementals -- probably not.

Dulrik, if elementals are getting negated as Edoras suggests, can you fix this?

I'm also concerned that rheres now no way a sorcerer wins a battle with an mr barb if charm is getting dispelled.

I might be wrong on the elemental thing, but definitely not wrong on the dispel charm thing. Also it's still just completely counterintuitive overall, both from IC logic and OOC investment vs. reward.

It's an "affect" that you can activate whenever you want, and the first person to hit you or that you hit triggers it on them. It cannot be turned on while prone, but it can be triggered while prone.

Are you being purposefully misleading just to puff up your Cause of The Week (which will heretofore be refered to as CoTW), or are you just daft? Genuine question, not intended flame, because I also just read your description of how awesome griffons are in front-row melee combat despite lacking any armored protection on critical body zones and I'm genuinely confused as to your mental stability at this point.

And it's an effect, not an affect.

You can see it when you type "affects" even though it's an "effect" on the player. That's why I put "affect" in quotes, which you might have noticed if you thought about it instead of snickering to yourself and thinking "hee hee I can get him on this" you pilkunnussija.

Forgive me for expecting people who participate in discussion about a skill to know how it actually works. I also never said that griffons are awesome in front-row melee combat. I said that they are the clear best choice for MR barbs.
