A rogue worth their salt should have the ability to change their desc to match their disguise and carry change sex herbs. This way even if they pull a job and dash three rooms over, one quick chew and a disguise and they should throw off the scent for the first thirty seconds or so. Also having an alternative weapon, a recall vial, and removing any give away jewelry is a good way to actually use disguise as well as polymorph.

They have hide. They don't need conceal.
