That's nice, Ardith and OA, but it's not really practically applied in a game where characters set their own descriptions.

You don't BECOME more attractive because you gain a stat point in CHA. You don't have to have a description where your tits and [REDACTED] are hanging out all over the place, you smell like a tropical fruit and your voice sounds like a song in SK to improve your "social skill, leadership, ability to perform for a crowd, and make new friends." Ugly characters are not exempt from these abilities . . . nor are ugly people in real life.

There's not really a proper way to enforce the roleplay of ANY stats, but stating that someone with low CHA is necessarily ugly while someone with high CHA is [REDACTED] shortsighted and stupid. I can't believe I'm having this argument.

Then you should just stop. Charismatic people *are* better looking in general. I didn't say that it's the full package, but it is part of it.

Perhaps I'm one of the few that take into consideration my character's stats when I write descriptions as well. My charismatic characters have *always* been better looking than those that have lower charisma.

I think Charisma is related to looks, but to me it's always had to do less with ugly/pretty and more with memorability. A very ugly person can be exceedingly charismatic: in fact, part of the charisma might have to do with how charming the person is despite the fact that his looks are so unappealing, and those ugly looks are what got you to pay any attention to them in the first place.

On the other hand, people who look very bland and uninteresting often tend to be bland and uninteresting, even if they're easy on the eyes.

I always laughed out loud when other characters called Iliphalia beautiful. I made her description purposely plain up until quite recently when she ticked and had a life change. She's still not beautiful, just a tad less uninteresting.

I guess that's why you laughed during that conversation I had with Tolene, and Gailehn, though I was invoking Iliphalia's status as Regent of Ayamao, someone having power, and that he was tapping that [REDACTED].

Doesn't Iliphalia have gray eyes?

She has blue eyes. That's . . . sort of her adjective.

Also, she was just laughing at the notion of many men wanting her for any reason in that particular conversation. She's 193 and was seriously befuddled that Gailehn was interested in the first place.

193 isn't *that* old for an elf.

And I'm pretty sure she has gray eyes.

Iliphalia has bloodshot eyes.
