I see none. Bards being in tune with mana to the point they can use their songs to aid in regeneration of others' mana but they can't figure out how "to enter into a trance, clearing the mind of distractions, and allowing mana to enter into the body more freely." I know they don't really fit the magic user definition but certainly they should have something similar to meditation considering they get endurance.

It would make more sense for them to get Trance instead of Meditation, since Trance is only effective while resting and would therefore be less OP than Meditation on bards.

This topic comes up every time someone rolls up a bard and gets frustrated with their slow regen times, if they're trying to level only with songs or chords. Bards get a lot of melee utility that can be used to level effectively while mana pool regens.

Just train mana.

After thinking about it over the years. What I would really like to see is a modified trance skill. It mechanically would work like trance, ie need to be resting but not sleeping, and you would hum a tune to yourself, sacrificing pe for me.

To the OP: Because meditation on bards would make them endless mana pools.

Yeah, they would turn into them, if they had it. after playing enough bards.

Because bards are spoiled as is.

But bards are mainly utility anyway, it would just add to their overall usefulness(which I admit is already pretty high).

In the right situations, solo bards can rip faces off.
