Sorry, when is a stunned character aware of anything?

I wouldn't sweat it too much, Muktar. I have it on good authority that circle is being "looked" at.

Personally, I'd like to see the damage on backstab, hamstring and circle reduced quite a bit and be able to bypass formation, like on other games (called flanking or evasive attacks elsewhere). The skill cap for the class varies from pathetically low when you are LOL one-shotting some n00b with backstab to unbelievably high when you have only a few seconds to figure which of the six NPCs in the room with the same/similar adjective, name and short description are blocking your attacks.

Thanks and I agree fully

Does hamstring still not cause limbs to be severed on the next hit?

Last I heard, hamstring didn't reduce the leg HP to zero: It just did circle damage to the leg and also mangled it. As a result, it was possible to sever a leg outright with hamstring on lower HP characters, but on other characters, it was possible to mangle them both and have the legs still take some more hits.

Hamstring is such an awesome skill. I wish it was used more. Unfortunately all the rogues right now suck.

EDIT*
Hoping Ardith's next is a rogue. The carnage would be amusing.

Please stop trolling my thread with thinly veiled insults. If you have something useful to add about the circle bug or a log snippet, then do so. Frankly, you come off as bitter over the criticism and curses you've received due to your poor roleplaying ability and lack of courtesy and sportsmanship.

I have absolutely 0 desire to play that class. They just seem so...boring.

Hamstring is bugged so far as I am concerned in that it doesn't cause the limb to be able to be severed. And circle stab is just...boring. I am of the opinion that this class needs some help, flavor, and some other crap.

They're more fun...than swashbucklers. Yeah - ringing endorsement.

I don't care about the other incidences, but I do want it fixed that if your group is in battle with the other group as long as the other conditions are met. You can circle stab anyone, and you can always circle stab stunned creatures.

^^This. The rogue class is sub par at group PK, IMHO. Even when circle doesn't "bug" out (as shown in my previous log snippets), you still have to deal with pets or guards positioned behind players before you can circle them.

Not a big deal by itself, but when a necromancer positions a wraith behind them and there are six to eight wraiths in the room - you're pretty much screwed. Your character would know which wraith to target, but as a player you're left guessing whether you should circle 1. 2. 3. 4., etc.

This class suffers from some serious quality of life and targeting issues. I'm all for a high skill cap, but when you're in the middle of a battle with 10+ pets/guards/characters and you get a message that something is blocking your circle/stab/hamstring - there should be a better method of determining what is blocking. Rather than having to randomly guess whether it is 1. or 6.wraith or 1. or 3.warhorse that is blocking.

This class could use a review of its mechanics.

Just sayin'.

I'm agree rogues have some glaring weaknesses but in that NPC behind a PC situation just petrify the NPC with a scroll, it's better than wasting 3-4 rounds on warhorses.
