I don't know about "pathetically" easy -- I personally like not having to worry so much about getting to max level and it going by so quickly, considering the nature of PvP in the group.

Yeah, the idea was more meant to help warriors really - to incent casters and support classes to spend more time with them while leveling.

Love it. It greatly encourages grouping before max level, which is obviously good. Can't see any drawbacks.

I like the idea if it was capable of being put in effectively, and not just bugging out. There is literally no down side to the idea of it, so long as group xp is not decreased to help the so called 'spread'.

I think I like this idea, and while I know nothing of how the code actually works, this could potentially make it far simpler.
It could be done that from now on, that everything characters do while in a group, they gain xp as they would alone. The bonus for fighting as a group could be that for each combat round the party was fighting, each PC would gain a share of the bonus xp.

Not going to happen. This is not an innovation. What you are describing is literally the default group implementation for MUDs. I am anti-communist and set up an alternate group experience system that only gives you rewards for the work that you do. Otherwise, level 1s just sit in the back of the group and do absolutely nothing and free ride their way to GM.
