If word was limited other spells would gain usefulness, like teleport, which would be kind of refreshing.

The argument "how it should be" with no actual basis is not a very good argument. A better argument might be to explain why it should be that way, and what benefit it brings to the table for being that way. Word of recall's only benefit is to get people out of situations in which they are hosed, which usually means that there's way too many situations in the game where people are hosed beyond a chance at doing anything about it. Getting bashlocked is one of those.

Considering fleeing is pretty spammable (and it should probably be limited to a flee attempt per round) as well, there's a reason why bash is way too strong: it's one of the few reliable ways to bag a kill.

Why do you keep referring to bash affecting word of recall in this context? If you are bash locked, you can't quaff word vials anyway.

That's actually not quite an accurate comparison. D-A was straight wrong about magma. Sargas actually has a point about bash.

Magma is actually pretty scary too. Just..not as terrifying as DA made out.

Magma will [REDACTED] up some half-elves and humans. Especially now that most melee chars won't have protection.

And I feel as though it should be harder to PvP. It's just too simple. Bash. That's the be all and end all of "tactics".
