That, and a missed bash is often a death sentence for the basher. It's a good risk vs. reward balance right now.

What is the risk/reward at this moment 1 out of 10 fail? I am NOT saying that is correct but that is my perception even if it is wrong.

Still love it everytime a class that actually needs a buff, gets debuffed. :( Poor swashies and scouts.

What is this I don't even

You do realize that this is a buff to swashbucklers as they need their weapons to do what they do best, parry the [REDACTED] out of attacks and riposte, and that by getting disarmed they were getting robbed of their skills.

Fo real guys. Swashies were screwed over more by getting disarmed repeatedly in PvP.

I don't know aobut 99% success, but it's pretty high. Success rate's probably a little lower than bash's.

This probably could be looked at, but I actually propose a different solution: c 'Enchant weapon' Curse. Let weapons be enchanted to be given the curse flag.

If it's an ability that people want, it shouldn't be considered a curse. That flag is so mis-used by builders, it should be scrapped.

...Um, so change the name. It's a worthwhile counter to disarm, and it's a viable tactic for those that choose to use it. It also comes with its own drawbacks, and removes the need to hoard 4 or 5 high-end weapons.

Maybe it's been misused by builders, but with the inability to recover lost weapons mid-battle, it's also become something somewhat sought-after.

How about something like a weapon chain.

Syntax

use chain <weapon>

The chain is attached to the weapon. While this is good so that weapons do go flying off, eventually the chain break from wear and tear from being disarmed constantly. If the command is used a second time, the chain is removed but note once removed can't be used again.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever read. I am now dumber for having read it.

I wasn't working with much to begin with.
