I believe it was implemented with a script that had to be manually turned on and off. Not sure if that was an Achernar or Viltrax invention. Neither are online much these days to activate it. I don't have anything against the idea but it really should have been automated with code.

Or just thrown away. I can't think of any less appropriate rewards for high player count than diminished interaction.

Or kept, because I can't think of any better bonus to keep people playing adventurously in off hours when priests aren't on.

Note that it makes for bad times when you're traveling with a party in far off places. There should be a longer delay in the auto-rez in case people want a rez from a priest.

Why not have an auto resurrect toggle instead? Have it turned on by default.

Just add an auto rez for everyone after 30 mins or so after death to their home church or pantheist place of worship that does not work for final strikers. This way people can have a way to life if they fail the oracle or no priest is available.
