Sorry, I agree with spidermonkey.

There are very few consequences to being a power-gaming PK-only type of player. You get all the good loot, you don't have to worry about getting stomped by most players, you get to strut around on the games, garner the respect of many, and post super cool logs of yourself being awesome.

One of the few consequences is that if you happen to PK a lot in cities, you have the potential - a VERY SMALL CHANCE - of going to jail. Your character avoided jail for months and months, and got out of jail within 30 minutes, even with the worst OP jail area eva!!

I have no reason to argue against your character any more, but I have played against you and I know you only go on these Gameplay tirades when something has the potential of even making your characters the slightest bit vulnerable to power-stomping your enemies, bounty NPCs, locating-lewt-on-dead-newbs self. Every character should be vulnerable, every area should be different, and I don't think jail areas are OPed especially compared to cabal HQs.

No, the problem is that you don't care at all about an glaring difference between tribunals because in this case it happens to also inconvenience me. You're ignoring the fact that there are always going to be "power gamers," as you call them, on both sides. Take Ardith, for example. It's because of the Exile jail cell being so much stronger than any other jail cell that Ardith was able to kill and junk-loot another player. You don't seem to mind this, or care about it. Why? Because you don't like me, because my last character could empty out your trib accounts in 30 minutes.

So again, the problem is that you are more interested in seeing me crucified than in seeing any issues that I point out.

Edoras spews so much misinformation that it's ridiculous.

One pc logged on does not make it impossible to do jail break. No more than 1 pc makes it impossible to take a relic.

And you have no room to come whine about spending eternity in jail when you purposefully racked up as many crimes as possible and spend endless hours killing NPCs when no pcs are on.

Seriously, if you are idiot enough to get arrested, after being an active NPC ganker then deal with it.

Nevermind that jail is clearly not that bad since you were willing to sit in Nerina's jail for a whole real time week, just so you can get a few cheap ganks.

And that despite omg exile's jail being SO TOUGH, you were out within an hour of getting arrested.

Actually, I like you fine and even created a darkie so I might see what your RP is like, so you don't need to play the victim here. The only thing I don't like about you is how much you whine when something might stop your character from being unstoppable. There's not that much of a glaring difference, since you still got out of jail pretty easily. I don't know about any of ardith's exploits because he doesn't whine about things on Gameplay as much as you do and I don't currently play a Peacekeeper character. If you're talking about Venthekymi, I'm pretty sure the reason he was able to kill and loot her is because she just stood there and died.

The only reason I know about this and am even engaging in this conversation is because you've brought it up 15 times, and you're just wrong. Lots, and lots of people disagree with you, Edoras. Reasonable people, your character's enemies, and even Syn. That's too many people who have given insight in this thread against your point of view to be some sort of conspiracy where everyone is biased against you just because they dislike your character. Can you admit you might just be wrong? If it was really, truly OPed, you'd still be in jail.

There will always be power-gamers and people who are obsessed with PK and winning SK, like you. That's why there's always a need for there to be a kink or two in the system so that these people might lose to something in the game. I like that kind of variety.

And, are you seriously bragging about draining tribunal accounts? I have no logical or nice response to that, so I'm not going to say anything.

Wow, man. That is some stretching there.

Exile's jail is so powerful that it made Venthekymi idle next to the judge without fly.

I'm not sure you'll get many people who understand how that works, Eddy.

I'm not bragging about draining tribunal accounts. I'm pointing out that that's why you dislike my tactics in general.

Having to commit suicide in between combat rounds while going from 50% to 4% is not an "easy jailbreak." That's a dice-roll away from just being put right back in with the other half of my bank account missing.

Actually, Baldric and Jhorleb both agreed with me, Peso agreed on the warparty being too strong, and smurf said "the jails should be balanced." Ardith didn't disagree with me, though he did say that all jails should be standardized, spidermonkey said "Don't rack up that many crimes" which was completely besides the point, and Syn spewed a bunch of junk because who knows. I'm not even reading her posts anymore because they're all just character attacks that are at least half incorrect.

Not a -single- person said "You know, Exile's jail -should- be harder to break people out of than any other jail." So really, no one disagreed with me, they just posed different solutions to my initial problem.

I've reached my limit of arguing with Edoras for the day, not because he's right, but because I don't see how it will get anywhere. We might as well discuss politics.

I'm eager to hear an IMM opinion on the matter.

I think people might have something about Edoras. Cyndane(Syn) and Irition cleaned out the bounty NPCs once as well in Exile to pk more effectively. No one complained about that. Granted, I only had the patience to do it once, where as Edoras is more patient. I think jail areas are fine, but the war party in Taslamar is too strong. Or the other kingdoms too weak.
