Maybe you haven't been paying attention to the forums? This Moot topic is just a veil for syn to complain about Eddy being a pk hungry rpless op class player.

Also, yes, in the case of Black Hand or necromancers, Older = Easier/Pre-Wimped/Irrelevant comparisons in this argument. Glad we are on the same page, now maybe you can use it to get with the program. It sure is hard to beat a necromancer in the Black Hand that has 60 wraiths and one of the perma-hasted trio super NPC that doesn't even need eq to be useful. Oh wait.

I do agree with you though that the Back Hand is fine.

A necro in the Black Hand is kosher, and no where near invulnerable.

If any other tribunal is subpar compared to the Black Hand (which there isn't IMO, but I haven't played a guardian or imperial yet), they need to be brought up to par, not to wimp the Black Hand yet again.

How come Boots doesn't get called a kiss-butt when he waves his Team Edoras flag?

Because Edoras is an actual asset to the gaming community here. Ardith isn't. I'm also just putting in my two cents a couple of times. Go back to you side of the field now. This is Raiders territory. ;p

Aw, I think they're both assets to the game. If either of them left, people would notice. But maybe the forums would be nicer (ardith) or less cluttered (Edoras.)

Man, does everyone who gets on Edoras' bandwagon adopt his inability to read words and gather their meaning?

You said, very clearly: "people couldn't do what he was doing with the same setup."

I said, "people have done better with worse/in harder setups and situations. he's not a snowflake." This statement implies that we don't need the empirical evidence of someone playing a black hand necromancer to realize he's not whatever wet dream icon you think he is. He didn't invent zap self;o all bash.

Then for some awful reason, you say, "lol different situations are irrelevant!" The only way my statement makes sense is if I am utilizing different situations. Harder is different. Doing better in harder situations is relevant to your butt-kiss trash.

I have a program for you: Hooked on Phonics. Apparently, it's one you missed.

I'm also glad you can see into people's thought processes and determine what they are really saying. I couldn't see through Syn's entirely relevant words that rarely, if ever, went off topic and were generally filled with accurate in-game information related to the issue at hand. Woo, I almost missed that whole pk-hungry-rpless-class-player subtext! Thanks for pointing it out to me. I would have been bogged down in the accuracy and the discussion the thread was made for. She might not be right about there needing to be a nerf, but everything she said makes this a conversation worth having and she's bringing facts to the table. Even if they are bogged down in snark.

Stop being so indignant. I tried throwing you ropes of agreement so we can move on from this. So far, you have been by FAR the worst offender in taking this thread off course. Except, maybe after this post, me.

The only thing I don't like about the moot is there's no fly entrance over the top of it, so if I don't have gate, I have to crawl through trash. However, Sith'a'niel is the same way, so I consider this balanced. I just don't like it. The Moot is really not very impregnable and the NPCs are balanced, though they do have a good slew of tank NPCs. More than most others. But, it's still balanced.

/will eat the banhammer if necessary for this one. Sorry, but it is necessary. And I called him an butt-kiss for you, jennbo.

The extent of your ability to argue seems to be "U R dumb". You can't even pick up on a little bit of sarcasm.

[edit] If you really can't see the biased in Syn's posts, you are beyond any help that hooked on phonics can provide. That sure was a good jab from the 80's though.

You run north.

The Dungeon of Exile
Thick stone pillars support the low arched ceiling of Exile Gaol. Iron
brackets are set into each, the torches they hold casting an oily,
flickering light over a scene of despair, their pungent black smoke doing
little to mask the stench of mouldering straw, self-pity and over filled
slop buckets. The rock walls are slick with damp and yellowed with mildew,
rotting straw covers the cold stone floor. Dark cells line the west and
south walls, each cell has a thick iron door with which to confine the
occupants if necessary. Most are left open, the inmates being given the
freedom of the dungeon in exchange for their good behavior.

YEAH NO SWEAT.

As for etherealform wands being op because necros can run around with them 11 charms (By the way does that mean that mercs get 1 charm too, because you're counting the pet, and the guard NPC) I don't think I've gotten that many kills while ethereal as Surrit. In fact, it's pretty clear to me that there's very little reason that a necro who spends an entire fight ethereal should land any kills. Pretty sure that most of the times Surrit has gone ethereal have been after he had already lost a fight. They've definitely saved me a handful of times, but in most scenarios they've served only as defensive utilities, not offensive: And honestly, in most groupfights if a necro gets BoG tagged, goes ethereal and then loses the fight, he's pretty screwed unless the other side just isn't prepped. Odds are that -someone- in the opposing group will be able to either dispel him or go ethereal and finish him off.

Right? Because I never clarified my statements to better support my statement that you didn't read what I wrote and I made no point in my words. Next time, I'll just post U R dumb and save myself from the same agonizing experience I get from Edoras every time I try to talk to him like an adult.

Biased or unbiased has nothing to do with a personal attack on Edoras that you implied. She may well be biased against a country she's opposed to being powerful, but that doesn't mean her posts aren't accurate. They bring valid points to the table, and it's a conversation to have just like Edoras' post below. He's just as biased. Doesn't mean there aren't valid points in that thread. He brought good points to the table. Do I think the warparty should be nerfed? No. The no-recall jail surrounding situation, though, is in need of serious attention. He's right on that one. There are some balance issues.

Same thing in this thread. Having a biased opinion doesn't mean she's personally attacking Edoras (beyond the normal Syn snark). It also doesn't mean she doesn't have valid points worth talking about, such as the prevalence of certain NPCs. Does it mean things'll get nerfed? No. Does it mean the conversation shouldn't happen? No.

Edoras, just edit your post clean and walk away. This isn't the thread for your idiotic, snarky trash, either - it has NOTHING to do with the moot or these issues at all. It is completely irrelevant, not even addressing the fact that you got jailbroken with no sweat. These are the big boy forums. If you want to talk about it further, make a thread somewhere else so I can call you everything I love to, sweet cheeks.

Let's, please, focus back on the conversation of the Moot. Not B00ts' hailing Edoras as it's favorite rugged lover, not Edoras' butthurt over how fail some of his argument over how easy he was broken out, not me bashing the idiots with rocks.

I know you'd argue about no sweat. I won't even address how wrong you are here.

But we can talk about the Exile war party in the Exile war party thread. Edoras, gank the damn log. You can post it in the other thread if you haven't already. That's not the Moot. You've now posted more evidence to support your Gameplay (big boy forum) thread in a conversation about the Moot than you did in your own thread.
