It ought only to work with scroll materials that make sense. Cloth types? Leather? Paper?

Would make for heavy scrolls, but that should be the drawback to them. I would also say that scribed spells on them should be half the level of the skin.

This is actually a terrible idea, as there are already far too many consumables in the game.
