Fear is fine as is. You want to deal with a Necro? It's called "Bolt of Glory" or "Holy Word" or "Spear of Faith". As far as this spell, or any other spell or skill being over powered goes, they aren't. YOU just haven't figured out a smart way of working around it. I'm pretty sure this is the place where Roleplay collides with something...

People, please find something to do with your time, other than griping.

This thread is ridiculous, it's a thread complaining about a spell that sucks if people take time to get one of the 1,000,000 greater willpower items in the realms. All I see is "We failed to be competent so I'm gonna try to spin it so we look like victims!" Suck it up and grow a pair.

Until bash is reexamined, fear is the least of everyone's issues.

There is nothing to fear from fear itself?

Every skill and spell in the game (except "sling") has a use. Mercenaries can easily ruin a Necro's day, ESPECIALLY if you're in the Hammer, or The Peacekeepers. You had what Three paladins? BoG and SoF should have been directed against the Necromancer IMMEDIATELY. You could have used Bliztkreig against his front line troops, and if you had a Peacekeeper with you then you could have had him order some guards to accompany you into the fight. You complain about one necromancer with nine undead. Why did you only bring four people to fight ten? Seems kind of silly.
