Not a bug. You ate mistletoe which tried to blind you while you were dirt kicked, so you didn't get blinded.

It was a copy of someone's log. So, blindness things will not stack anymore?

They never did stack. If you try to dirt someone that's had blindness cast on them you get the "They're already blind" message. Same in reverse. Also true for color-spray based blindness. Only one kind of blindness can be active at any given time on any given character/NPC.
