You know Magma has always ignored MP and MR, right? Thus, that particular spell hasn't really gotten any buff out of the enchant change.

I actually never really paid much attention to it. Because RE before would make it useless. But now it cant be brewed...

If it indeed does ignore it, then that should be changed. Hitting that hard against a dwarf barb with nearly max hp is just dumb.

Doesn't dirt kick get blocked by SS? And cant do that when the elemental is spam bashing you. (I was even in mood defensive and the elemental didn't miss a single bash out of like 8 )

Yeah the only thing that's going to help you against that is protection/sanctuary unless you have access to scripted RE. And, as Mr. ITG pointed out, dirt kicking that little bugger.

There's a message that makes it look like SS blocks dirt kick, but multiple logs have been produced of people with SS getting blinded with dirt kick, so the general consensus is that no, SS does not block dirt kick.

The minimal damage caused by dirt kick, however (which some times causes NPCs to fall and break their neck and die) is blocked by SS.

Isn't the fall and break their neck death message from being bashed?

Back in the day there was a death blow from dirt kick about dirt in the eye.....

Also uh, in a game with stupid spells with the same cast time as magma that cause their target to instantly die, how is ~40% one time and ~20% after that anything to [REDACTED] about? :P
