My guess is that one of these two things are true about you:
A) You are actually a new player, so this is your first forum account. This means that there's no way you've had enough experience playing SK to know what in the world you're talking about.
B) You have been playing SK a while, but aren't comfortable with people associating your ideas with who you are. If this is true then I have no idea why you think anyone should take you seriously here.

C) LOL.

In fact, it is C. The fact of the matter is, "Styles" came to me first via email with the Necro comments. I told Styles to go take it to the forums just to see how the idea would survive the brutal anal probe that would result.

Styles is not a sock puppet account, because that assumes Styles normally posts under another name, which is not the case. Styles didn't want to waste time talking on the forums and preferred to spend keystrokes within the game. Although now you may have whetted Styles appetite for forum combat... (probably not a good thing). I expect it will be an ongoing handle now.

I respect Styles desire for anonymity, but I've grown tired of that being an excuse for discrediting the idea. Styles definitely ranks as an SK veteran and has a winning track record of having killed other veterans in PK.

I'll also add that I believe this thread resulted in better ideas for changes than the original idea.

But now let's draw this thread to a close please.

My guess is that styles is "Pray for Rain." Not many other people are that obstinate while not having a lot of experience.

If you nerf necros to where they are equal in combat to a sorc, they will become an utterly useless class and you'll see even less people playing them. They're already plenty easy to handle by anyone with access to ranged combat or holy word.

That guy killed Mitch.

He is clearly the end all be all of game balance. I am glad Dulrik is able to realize this, and hope Styles is made an imm asap.

MR barbs need more buffs, like fury/berserk adding to MR.

No, they are not as long as they have easy access to ethereal and they have dispel magic

Chem's so right.

I bet we could get Archer and Leo to drop something more quickly than D can get Edoras to.

One final post from me in this thread:

If you change the class that wraiths are, please do not make them warlocks. While I do not think this would make necromancers unplayable, I do think that it would result in nobody ever using animate dead, and I am under the impression that getting rid of wraiths would not be your goal with this change. A better choice would be hellion with 0 int and no cleave. People would still use wraiths in pvp, but they would be -drastically- nerfed from the furying barbs they are now. I don't want to see undead hordes disappear from the game entirely.
