No. Hellions already have a lot of options, and being able to enchant stats (as has been brought up before) has greatly buffed stat-starved classes (Paladin, Hellion, Bard).

Fear is a thematically appropriate spell for hellions to have. That much is certain. You could take a few things away from them to balance it out: hide, sneak, and plague. Really, why should anyone in heavy armor be able to hide or sneak? It makes little sense.

Thematically appropriate? Maybe. Balanced? No.

Not at present. Adding fear would have to be offset by removing something(s) else. Less thematically appropriate things.

Sneak and hide are very thematically appropriate and are also nowhere near the strength of fear.

Could someone please explain to me why a Knight who regards himself as "honorable" would use Hide and Sneak? Invis I can almost understand, but the Hide and Sneak skills seem silly for someone in plate mail.

That's why.

His word is sacred, sure. But he never said he wasn't gonna sneak up on you, tap you on the shoulder, and then cleave your head off.
