AoE (Area of Effect) which implies that it hits multiple targets at the SAME time.
Chaining effects = Are effects that are single target that chain to another single target.
Depending on how it is actually coded/flagged they can be two completely different things. I will refrain from flaming you. In that I had to rewrite this several times to pull out the flames.
Class dismissed.
I swear Muktar. I need to just get banned for a week to put you in your place. Not only did you completely make up the second term for whatever reason, I've also *never* heard of it. Ever. Anywhere. AoE does not mean it hits multiple targets at the same time. It means that it has effects on an area. There are non-combat AoE spells. Like D&D's circles of law/chaos/good/evil.
The fact that you are unable to grasp the three words, "area of effect" is just astonishing. Chain lightning is placing an *effect* (lightning damage) on an *area* (a room).
