If taunt were changed such that you couldn't overcome it with +int, it would need to have an easier save or have a less dramatic effect on int. A near-automatic -9 hit to int without a way to counteract it in addition to the no-flee effect is way too strong, even for the weakest class in the game.


You would obviously tweak the numbers for all debuffs when Dulrik finally gets around to making them lower both current and max.

I can't think of much a reason to go human rather than delf, since your best bet these days is to enchant for MR anyway (nullifying the BoG worry).

Some good combos to me look like:
sprite shaman in a tribunal
delf sorc in tribunal or crucie
sprite warlock in a tribunal/druids

It is ironic that the changes to flight only ended up affecting casters, since melee can more than overcome the penalty from flying with the buffed version of bless. But, yeah, sprite with innate flight is pretty good caster race after the update.

Bless is not going to fully counter that penalty, but it could be I should make the fly penalty larger.

I'm gonna say shaman, probably sprite for faerie fire. Debuffs have become huge due to impairment and non-stacking enchant changes, and given that you can't enchant for both MP and AP reliably, you're going to beat everybody with dispel and call lightning.

I never had an issue enchanting 4 AP/MP on pieces on my priest.

I'd like to see someone with a competent scout around, Jerin and I were testing a few months back and large/giant sized arrows still hurt most classes. Alas, the best you can do is likely a mintar scout for that class?

I think you should. It's nowhere -near- as debilitating as the penalty is for casters.
