I think that the "get all" command should be disallowed on stunned victims again. It's already feasible enough to stun someone and take all their stuff, and you won't miss anything due to auto-peek. It didn't need to be made easier to full-loot someone who is stunned on top of the "PE gets reduced to zero" change.

Now you can stun someone in a city, take all their junk, and then run away laughing with only an assault and battery + theft to your name. This means you can effectively jloot people without fear of banishment. While absolutely hilarious, this is overall a negative change in my opinion.

The banishment system sucks. This is the problem, and within it, the solution.

I'd like to bump this. Either get all from stunned victims needs to be removed, or assault and battery should be added to the "banishable crimes" list.

Hold on now. Granted it is a pain in the rooty-tooty-kabooty, does stunn loot FIT that character's RP? OR is the person OOCly acting upon douchery? It likely does need to be attended to. However, to question it honestly; is it an OOC issue, or simply a player role playing their character effectively?

This is more an IC issue than an OOC one. Diabolic or not, since being banished is so detrimental to a character, it's best to have all PK done within a law area be to mode stun so you can get all from the stunned victim and then surrender later, thereby eliminating the possibility of being banished permanently. Taking all of someone's stuff is just as painful as killing them in pretty much every way.

I say leave "get all" from stunned folk, but have it count as stealing in all cities if it doesn't already...People won't do it as often if they're gonna get 20 theft charges for doing it.

Way to fix that is to make each item that is taken from get all a separate charge, since it would be a separate charge if you didn't use get all.

I think the problem is that you can't banish someone on theft + battery charges alone. So in theory, someone could go around serial mugging people and you'd never be able to banish them. Or hell, just one incident is pretty aggravating when the legal reprehension is a fine or an arm cut off.

I'm not sure how many theft charges you get for a take all but I think it is just one.

Personally, I don't really think this is a big issue but I have seen it used at least once. I agree the answer is to fix the banishment system. High counts of mugging and theft, maybe even numerous accounts of low murder (20+) should make you eligible for banishment.
