I think we should all acknowledge and cheer that Tatali0n is back!!!!!!! Tumrall was one of my all time favorites.

I wouldnt mind seeing a sleep for X time command where it will auto wake you up after 60 * X seconds. Then I could set a sound trigger for you awake in cmud and alt tab my heart up. Or better X number of ticks. The catch would be you could only be Forced to wake up could not wake up yourself until timer ran out. (Could not be set for 1).

And celebrate with letting us hear gtells while asleep.

This really isn't all that important. Mean, we can't exactly explain how pcharacters are communicating through long distances without letters, or magic. Best way is to say is a form of telepathy everyone is capable of executing. Cabal and Tribunal communication is likely the same thing. You're in an organization, or a hunting party, and need to exchange thoughts silently. Whatever magical means that allows this has yet to be explained...the ability of using it while resting would then be explained entirely.

If anything should come to our attention, it is that we lack a "whisper" or a "whisper to" command. Just a thought, not that that is important either..

It really has been that long, that I'm not absolutely sure on this point: isn't cabal chat available whilst you're sleeping?

Whereas group tells are not.

Of course, there's always various IM clients, Skype, forums, etc. But that's essentially pushing communication and socialisation that could be in-game, in-character and contributing to roleplay, out of game and out of character, to the (however inconsequential) detriment of the game.

Then again, it's no big thing. I think it's only a drag when you're in a group and levelling a character.

Not to mention it burns mana to use anyway...thus defeating the point in sleeping, if you are a caster.

You shouldn't even be able to gtell while asleep.

However, while asleep, player's souls should be transported to an ever-shifting dream world, in which they can occasionally contact ghosts or other players, explore, and possibly learn things or complete quests, from which they exit upon waking or upon being woken up.
