I think this revolutionizes SK. I hope old players will be drawn back to experiment with these changes. I think everything is intentional and will avoid to speculate on nasty behavior from players and just try to enjoy the new features.

Can a player join the same tribunal with multiple characters or must all of a player's characters be in separate tribunals?

You can join the same tribunal.

Was helping a friend familiarize himself with a MUD and this MUD so he could try it out and noticed on the website the cabal tribunal information related to this code update had not been updated on the actual website. Just thought you would like to know this for new prospects checking us out.

This is a good update, but publically outing tribunal members on the WHO list is still very lame.

Now that we have multi-grouping, when are we going to get multi-classing?

Why would a tribunal member need to be private? If you want to RP being a "recruit" before officially getting inducted if you're a newb or not high enough level to PK yet, okay, don't get officially inducted. But once you're in a tribunal, your job is to protect the citizens... like a cop. If you want to be a secret undercover agent, join a cabal or something. Or don't join anything.

Really?

Why would a cabal member of a cabal actively at war want to keep their affiliation a secret? One reason: they don't want to die while leveling. Same applies to a tribunal member. There are Bad People in this game who like to kill people that are leveling, and also will find out adj/race combos with minimal-to-no RP.

The idea of publicizing affiliations goes directly against a lot of changes (enchanting-adding-to-ilvl change, thief changes) intended to soften the requirement of levels to be integral. It's a bad idea: there's no reason to defend it.

If you're not strong enough to protect the citizens on Exile, you shouldn't be inducted into the Peacekeepers. Cops in training are not cops. They are not an actual member of the police force. When they complete their training, they become a member of the police force. So, if you're in training, don't join the cops.

It technically was never private info anyway, since a tribunal member who just visited a warring capital city, is automatically considered an invader, even if you just wanted to buy something.
