Another dodge and another attempt to redirect the discussion to be about me instead of about the issue. It's not going to work. You have hit us with the contradictory argument that there are too many buffs to melee yet the only thing that should be changed about taunt is to make it reduce peak intelligence, even though taunt provides a completely superfluous buff to melee. It could be dispensed with and game balance would be improved. This aspect of taunt is just as deserving of being addressed as the issue of how taunt affects intelligence. No one has refuted this and almost everyone agrees; you just seem to refuse to acknowledge this aspect of taunt even exists.

Okay, kid. There is no contradiction. Taunt needs to be tweaked to reduce peak intelligence and that is it.

So your argument is that taunt should decrease accuracy because swashbucklers don't have enough defense against mercenaries and barbarians? Too bad it would also affect rogues, hellions, paladins, bards and shamans (melee builds), which are not the problem.

The solution here is addition by subtraction - changing how accuracy buffs stack and/or tweaking specialization.

Sounds like a plan - just need to make sure Dalamar adds shadowy swashbucklers to the game, too.
