I've not been playing long, but already, when I read something from an Imm that sounds a bit rude, I automatically start scrolling down to find OA's post.

It's not bad Yuarheer, it's absolutely hilarious.

I think that the idea of a journal is great, and that it would be a great addition to the game considering that the IMMs are aiming to enforce RP restrictions more intensely.

There is no way I would fill out the journal. I play this game for a break from work and would not play it anymore if this was implemented and required. Although I'm sure I will just get told to go play another game...

I certainly wouldn't push for this to be a requirement, but, again, it's a form of insurance for you and a way for imms to more effectively interact with ongoing character plots.

Yeah, I don't think anyone was planning on making a journal a requirement.

Would it be alright to copy/paste the journal when you delete and post it on to your afterlife thread? I think it would be a GREAT addition. Especially if people explain there RP in it the journal.

Would not be a requirement, although there's the possibility that great journals could qualify you for rewards in the same way as great RP. Also, there is the possibility that a journal (or portions of it) could be made public after the character's death (or retirement).

Ironically, I implied that in the post I just wrote. The answer is yes, although we need to be conscious of space considerations. If every afterlife thread started with a book, it could be rough on the forum server.
