Yes, but it gets more complicated in the game than in real life. In SK, the Gods and their benefits are all real, so it can make sense to make your decisions based on the outcome. The problem is that the only way a relativistic reality like that can be viable is if anyone who takes it way serious is viewed as an extremist who isn't actually right. Sort of like real life.

I think that it's perfectly fine to both punish people with poor religion RP and reward people with good religion RP. Is that not happening at the moment?

The definition of good religion RP includes, "completely overruled by alignment."

Religion RP is almost none-existent across the board. The most religion RP I see is when someone dies and they say Rez K thx and say one line about the god then "Can i go get me eq back"

Don't resurrect them next time. Tell them they were jerks when they ask why.

You don't see paramedics trying to date anyone in the ambulance, do you? "While I have your organs in my hands, let me tell you about my friend the King in Yellow..."

When my characters look for someone of faith to talk to, they almost never have a problem in finding someone. Even in passing encounters, I see people reference their religion in a greeting or parting. There is no one sitting on a corner, ringing a bell and asking every single person that walks back if they have heard the good word, nor do I expect there to be.

What's that? You're saying there isn't a character who does the same general thing and have the same general message for every roleplay encounter?

Sure we have those. They're called NPCs. We usually kill them for XP.

I guess mez wants to be an NPC? ;-)

I don't understand your point. You should never have chosen a religion that was incompatible with your alignment in the first place.

I normally play priest and I am stingy with giving out rez, I end up making a lot of people mad and they try to kill me. Still, I always hate the idea of people I never talked to ICly asking me for a rez then go back to not talking to me until they need another rez.

Then why do you play a priest? It's a game, and as much as I hate sending random tells to people I never met(and probably won't interact with much outside of that but certainly won't shy from it), it comes with the territory and is a necessary evil.
