You should add in... 'who is online in the realms at the moment the rez is needed'

Why don't you give them a stuffed teddy bear when you resurrect them, and tell them it was yours as a child and means a lot to you? That'll win them over.

I am of the opinion that a rez -should- have some sort of compensation, by which I mean... RP! It should be simple, of course, but I can shout off some examples really quick.

Achernar: Go find a Will o' Wisp, and describe to me what it looks like, and tell me where you believe it comes from?
Aludra: Name something precious to you, something you wish the Lady of Compassion to see cherished?
Meissa: Ask to be given life in a poem for the gift of the Lady of Art.
Mira: Describe one of your dreams, or give me a riddle.
Sadr: Share the suffering of your demise!

And of course, the one Pontain is going with, "Grant me a story, so that I may catch a broader glimpse of the vast tapestry the Lady of Fate has guided for all of Pyrathia." If something that simple is too high a cost to be granted LIFE again, fully and renewed, then too bad!

Those Rezes used to come at an obsidian apiece when I first started playing.

Edited: There also used to be a priestess named Illiitu who'd only rez you if you agreed to join her religion...Dreddnhar.
