I encourage you to ask questions AFTER reading the appropriate updated help files, since I just spent the entire day rewriting all the relevant ones.

What are, roughly, the parameters for a "great" victory?

Why don't griffons share the centaur bonus for kick, given that their kicks come with claws/talons?

Nobody likes griffons, that's why.

I already know builders don't.

Actually, they do. They are both considered quadrupeds.

Does the DIG spell also unearth boulders?

Just would like to say thank you for the amount of work that probably went into this code update. I really think the bard and swashie buffs are a huge leap in the right direction.

The victory bonus is already an established reward for capturing or defending a relic when faced with some significant player opposition. To win a great victory, you need to have already qualified for the victory bonus and the odds for the fight need to have been nearly even or against your favor.

Basically, this is a reward for manning-up and choosing to CRS when it won't be a cakewalk.
