Honestly I liked Korthyl, it was only your hours in the last few weeks which is due to RL stuff I was lead to believe. Although likely to be on going. Honestly sad to see you go. Although I had thought you deleted back when you got out of the fists. Korthyl was a solid Talon and a solid griffon. I dont think what you thought was coming is what was coming. Even if it was Ive had a lot of fun on Caric being the guy who was but isnt any more. Would have liked to see you stick around but SK doesnt really promote the sticking around that much.

I remember when my first character was a Talon leader and I thought I was involved in all kinds of interesting intrigue and roleplay ... and then I actually got around to checking my SK e-mail and found that the entire thing was just the paltry manifestation of out-of-character drama.

OP made the right choice.

I understand the dilemma that you may have experienced. This situation is however an open ended RP that will decide some upcoming possible changes in this character's future. I have zero interest in whatever OOC motivations characters or players have against each other. I invited this character to participate, made an effort to log in and stick around to do so. There were not any questions posed to me OOCly about the affect this would have on Korthyl. I did not receive any PMs, emails, or posts into the faction boards on the topics I started about this GRP. I made an effort for this character to bring their feelings to bear upon the outcome of the situation only to be disappointed by the gap left by someone abandoning a character that was central to the entire story line. It seems that they felt they had been told by someone else something that may or may not have been true. Rumor abounds, but in truth the outcome is certainly not decided ahead of time. Of course the loss of a leader in this type of situation does impede the progress of the role play. I've seen it happen multiple times, as a player and as an Immortal.

I've left the outcome open ended and was hoping people would find enjoyment in being a part of a scenario which they themselves made an impact on the outcome. There was never anything said about castration, loss of leadership, or doubts about the character's ability to lead. If these statements were made, they were made by other characters. Assumption that one or any character is leading this RP is false. I have devised a number of outcomes based on the efforts of players and their groups to vie for their own chance to impact the role play that is still taking place. Any of the comments by the OP must have come from some IC or OOC and uninformed (non Immortal) source. It is truly a disappointment that they did not stick around to stand up for their side of the conflict.

In truth there was never any imagined outcome that would have created the situation the OP decided was inevitable. Had he contacted me in some manner before retiring, I would have explained that. If there were situations that the player of the character thought made the results of the RP want to step aside, I would have found ways to make that situation rewarding as well.

When the person in question told me that the information came from the council of blossoms, I wasn't sure what to believe.
I had actually chosen to believe them after being involved in the actual council of blossoms RP, which hinted at the possibility of a change in the leadership structure of nerina. I will pm you a log of our first encounter.
