I like this idea, but I would hate to see stone skin no longer brewable as it is one of the biggest reasons to befriend a warlock as it stands.

How about making it easier to petrify someone who has stoneskin on, since he's already halfway there?

I'd like to see this spell get a bit more complex. Remove the 100% damage reflect over X number of hits and make it a damage reduction when it is up, scaling so that brewed is not as good as cast. Give the spell a bonus to fortitude. In exchange, add a penalty of extra stamina needed for skills and movement, and lowering weapon speed slightly.

This thread is how things become broken. Please stop. The spell is fine and doesn't need to be more complicated.

Don't want to get petrified? Invest in fortitude.
