When reading about tokens, it says one way to get them is to confirm your email address, but I have never had the chance to do so as far as I can tell. Are emails to confirm just not being sent or what? I tried making another character set to another email address (aol vs gmail) and neither of them even showed up as a spam message. If there is some way to go about this, I would appreciate any kind of help or advice on it (amandagreathouse@aol.com) for what it's worth.

If it is not showing that usually means that your email's filter is seeing it as junk and deleting it before hand. To try to fix this, add this email address to your address book: no-reply@shatteredkingdoms.org
That is the email addy where the confirmation email comes from.

Turns out I had the character longer than I realized and it was extremely far back in my spam folder. Thank you for the help. I just got jealous when my husband talked about having tokens and said something about confirming an email address because 'Hey, I didn't even get an email, what gives!?!?!'

You can take the newb out of a mudder in general, but never out of someone who's new to an individual mud. Only time and dozens of mistakes and embarassments. >.<

Given how few and specifically targeted our emails are, it's frustrating that SK email often gets defaulted to the spam list. I primarily blame this on how in the past so many people used bogus email addresses for their characters (which would then bounce).

I never got any tokens for verifying my email... What sorcery is this.

I got five last night for verifying mine. >.< It was an instantaneous thing.



Is there an email account I could send a couple paragraphs of backstory for the main pc I'm playing on so you guys maybe have something beyond alignment and happenstance observation to go off of as to what's going on there in case there's ever an animation of someone/thing all knowing, or just for whoever's doing RP tokens, etc?

Can pray about it and all the staff will potentially see it (but not necessarily read or remember).
