I like how at Dulrik voicing his pain at seeing us drop, we all leap to vote our support. As it should be.

Once again we are not even in the Top 20...

Hey, I always vote, but is it really all that important? Why do we care about the "rankings" anyway? How do we know they are legitimate?

It's hard to tell if they are legitimate, but I think they are, since we've had a long-standing presence there whenever we've had a core of people who regularly voted.

It's important because it's one of the places that people who already know what MUDs are go to find a new game to try out. It's very hard to find that core audience in other ways.

Although we can't limit ourselves to only people who know about MUDs if we want to grow, it's still going to be a very important segment of the audience in the foreseeable future.

I guess I have to take your word on that. I wonder how many SK players found the game through that list of "best" mud games. I know I didn't.
