You could add changing your adjective for a value to redeem tokens.

Tokens could be used to increase the size of your bank account too.

I like the adj change, and I think it would be amazing to do the hometown change, too. Alternately, if someone was willing to build it all, make those settlements also have a deportation office where you can buy citizenship to recall there. I would love to be able to do that with certain places, myself. Like Everclear. Or Krychire.

Adjective change is something that I could get behind. Non-standard home towns is not. I want more interaction and rubbing of shoulders between active players and the rest. That would promote less.

I think tokens should be able to be gifted by a person from their account to someone else's.

Besides the blatantly obvious self-serving reason for this, it's also so that people who achieve these tokens (proven to be active and contributing members of the SK society) can help tempt friends/acquaintances into playing who may not otherwise play (such as those who've played off and on for an incredibly long time and only have interest in specific things and don't want to abuse the system to play what they want). The more, the merrier, right? It's not even a generation of new tokens, just the transfer of already earned tokens, so it's not even a handout.

(but mostly the blatantly obvious self-serving reason, which can also be resolved by giving me a grip of them, but that goes against the whole "not giving them out for just existing" thing)

This is hardly an issue considering that most of the money in the game is going to areas that it's not easily taken out of such as Owyran, and Selhys.

Not true. Even with the limited bank account size, currently 48% of all the currency in the world is in the possession of player characters or stored in their bank accounts. By comparison, all the areas outside the core kingdoms and HQs only contain 18% of the currency.
