MR barbs are looking better tho.

QFT.

Go 7 MR trains, can still buff, and the bonus MR from fury/eq will cover you. And you'll still be mostly immune to top tier weapons.

Re : Nashira.

Anybody who pays attention to prep will already tell you it's hard to get enough saves to have a chance to save vs 14 art casters w/ impairment, and the staff plan is to further lower the available fort/will/reflex gear people can get? Just want to make sure we're following. I mean, I already have a max art sorc, works for me.

I'll leave this for D to comment on, if he so chooses.

We could make a list of various items from places like Krychire, Kol's Moot, Garazul, Menegroth, Tlaxcala, Teron, if that would help staff.

That's actually a good idea. Use the typo log to flag items that seem like too low-hanging of fruit or items in tough areas that could use more juice.

Nashira is ahead of the curve but not alone. I've changed a few items myself in Empire and Uxmal and will change more. I will try my best to leave items currently in circulation alone.

I think that if you do plan on changing the item, in circulation, or not, it should get changed. The sooner, the better. You will never know when those items will actually make their way out of circulation. Best to just do it and get it over with, if it were to happen. Just my opinion.

I have to disagree personally.

If a player is wearing something and had it enchanted, and knows it has XYZ enchants, they shouldn't be expected to identify all their stuff every day to make sure none of it randomly changed.

I am not sure how this game works in terms of changes, but I know that on other places I have built for, there was always an option to add an "update" flag to items that were being changed. Old items stayed how they were before the changes, unless this flag were added on that item, in which case, upon log out/log in, the item would reset itself to the new stat of the item. Maybe something like this could be added, if it doesn't already exist, so that changes can be made without having to wait for an item to not be used.

If this came with a coded alert to the player carrying said item, I'd say go ahead and knock yourself out. :drunk:

All I know is that I can't charm or petrify people for [REDACTED], and I've got both mastered, max art, genius int, influential cha, and pretty well-enchanted gear (though I don't keep up with slot stats like you all do)

I mean, charm especially, not even NPCs. Haven't even tried it with PC.

Charm does seem to be much harder to land on PC's. Sleep and petrification work much better.

Still do not understand the reasoning behind reducing the innate number of runes on available fort/will mods. This directly affects one ability to compete with high art casters. What as the logic behind this? Do you guys not see the disparity between between melee classes and casters who can shut them down within seconds?
