Yes. My understanding is that it makes spells heal you more and improves your AoN.

Does that mean its possible to get healed just as much as a normal heal with a crap load of MR?

Theoretically?

Don't think the game has ever had an Mr barb try to put in that level of effort.

I don't think that's something that could be even technically accomplished, given that you'd have to well over 150 MR on your gear. My recalling of the math involved might be off though.

Well if you get 7 MR Runes on 7 armor slots totaling 49 MR. And assume that MR trains equal about 10 MR runes, with 10 MR trains max. You would get 149 in MR. Difficult, but not impossible. This is all guess work since MR train numbers are a mystery.

MR training gives you 10 MR a train. It's not a mystery. I was saying that I'm pretty sure that in addition to 10 MR trains you'd have to have over 150 enchants on your gear, which seems practically impossible.
