Actually the mirror opposite of Massive would be on weapons would be cool. But justifying something like that to just staff weapons would be difficult.

Polearm is not the ONLY weapon type with a reach. There is 1 subtype in other weapon classes that have a reach. I'm just saying that I think 1 subtype of staff could be given the same consideration.

Increased chance of blocking/parrying could be another consideration opened up.
